Romans 6:10 “ “For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives to God.”
We have been through a year or two that continues to have slogans that certain lives matter. Which lives matter? All lives matter to Jesus and that is what Easter is all about. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus ended the debate of which lives matter. “He died for all!” Jesus didn’t die for any one group of people, race, gender, age or political persuasion. He died once for all and that sacrifice is still available today for every life that will accept it.
ROMANS 6:10
Easter reminds us of his sacrifice but also of the resurrection which is for all lives that accept him. All lives matter to him and his delay in returning is to give time for more people to take him at his Word. Easter is really the “day that death died” for those who know him. When we die to self and trust Jesus, the life we will then live, we live eternally to God and with Him. As you celebrate Easter this Sunday, remind yourself and those with whom you celebrate that all lives matter to God and it is our responsibility and opportunity to share the real story. We cannot go back and change the beginning, but we can start where we are and change the ending. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.” Romans 6:23-25.
EASTER IS FOR ALL LIVES AND ALL LIVES MATTER TO JESUS!
