Acts 17:26 “And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place.”

Have you ever thought about the fact that you had nothing to do with the decision of who your parents were to be, the time of your birth, and the place of your birth? God made these decisions and knew the answers in advance according to his plan and his wisdom. From Adam to you, God has chosen every man (and woman) to live at a certain time and place and we must learn to trust God’s plan and live out his purpose. We only pass through this world but once and our time is now to lead and fulfill God’s design for us on our way to heaven.

We do not know how many days we have to live, but God does and has them planned. We are told in Psalm 139:15 “Your eyes saw my unformed substance, in your book were written every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Our lives have been planned the same as for Adam, Moses, David, Paul, and Jesus. Just as we thank God for their lives, we should thank him for our lives since our time is now and our names are already written in his book. The one thing that we must make certain is that our names are also written in his book of life for those who accept Jesus. Since our time is now, we should accept like Esther that we are here, leading those God has given us to lead and, in the location, God has placed us for “such a time as this.” We are living the allotted time given us and in the boundaries of our dwelling place. Make the most of it.
